"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."

Baptism is the free gift of God to us that makes us able to go to heaven. Through it we are freed from the power of sin; we are given a share of God's eternal life; and we are made part of His family, the Church.
