"As many of you know, I've been on pastoral placement in London for the past few months as part of my seminary formation - and what a joy and blessing it has been! This time has offered me countless opportunities to serve, learn, and grow, both spiritually and personally. From working with the First Holy Communion and Confirmation classes, to helping with various parish events, visiting the housebound with Holy Communion, and being involved in Baptism preparations and funerals, I've felt deeply immersed in the life of the Church in a way that has only deepened my vocation.
My placement has ended on June 01 and I now prepare for the next phase of seminary life. Currently, we're in the midst of 'Enrichment Week' i.e., various talks and activities aimed at holistic learning. On the 15th I will be off with my batch-mates for an 8-day Ignatian Retreat. That's what's happening in the near future. The seminary in the meanwhile are writing reports on me and also collecting reports from my parish priest here and other lay people. They will meet on the 10th of June to discuss these and decide on my progression.
Please keep me in your prayers for the above mentioned meetings and also especially as 1 continue to discern and open my heart ever more to the will of God.
Know that I am praying for you too!
